Position: Chemistry Teacher (Upper Grade)
Location: Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Reporting To: Head of Secondary (Line Manager) & STEM Director (Functional)
Start Date: August 2026
1. The Institution & The Context
Our South Campus is undergoing a massive STEM-focused pedagogical upgrade. We have heavily
invested in state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure, and we require a Chemistry specialist who can
maximize the utilization of these capital assets to drive academic attainment.
The Operational Architecture: You report strictly to the Head of Secondary (Line Manager) for daily
operations and performance. You will coordinate with the STEM Director for practical lab scheduling
and the Academic Director for curriculum alignment.

2. Core Responsibilities & Mandate
Laboratory Execution: Deliver advanced IGCSE/A-Level Chemistry instruction with a heavy,
mandated emphasis on hands-on practical lab hours, moving away from purely theoretical
teaching.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to international laboratory safety protocols
(zero incidents).
Attainment: Drive student pass rates on external board examinations and internal value-add
progress metrics.

3. The Candidate Profile
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, plus a valid teaching credential.
Experience:3+ years teaching Upper Grade Chemistry (UK Curriculum).
Mandatory Certifications: Must hold recognized, up-to-date laboratory safety certifications (e.g.,
CLEAPSS or equivalent).
Sourcing Strategy: Target rigorous academic markets (UK, South Africa, top-tier international
schools in the MENA region)
Experience:3+ years teaching Upper Grade Chemistry (UK Curriculum).
Mandatory Certifications: Must hold recognized, up-to-date laboratory safety certifications (e.g.,

Compensation and Benefits:
A competitive tax-free monthly salary of 7,000-11,000 SAR
Housing & Transport: Accommodation allowance equivalent to 25% of base with Transport at 10% of base.

Relocation & Travel: Annual economy-class flight allowance, relocation assistance, and settling in allowance at a maximum of one base salary.
